In California and New York, UUSC operates under its DBA, UUSC Service Company (CA License #0C17302). In Florida, the issuing provider and administrator is Vehicle Dealer Solutions (FL License #60132).

A: Yes. It doesn't matter how many owners there have been, as long as the vehicle meets all other eligiblity requirements.
A: In order to maintain valid coverage, you must have your vehicle's oil and filter changed within 60 days of the contract date of sale, then every 4 months or 4,000 miles or as recommended by the manufacturer. You must have your vehicle checked and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations as outlined in your vehicle's Owner's Manual. Verifiable receipts for service must be maintained.
A: Component coverage varies by vehicle service contract plan. All contracts include added benefits such as Rental Car Coverage, Towing and Emergency Roadside Service and Trip Interruption Coverage. See Service Plans for more details.
A: Dealerships and commercial repair facilities in the United States and Canada will honor Zurich Vehicle Service Contracts. You can have your vehicle repaired in your hometown or while you're away from home.
A: Yes, you will be required to pay the stated deductible in your Zurich Vehicle Service Contract for a covered repair.
A: There should not be a need for you to submit any claims for reimbursement. Under Zurich service contracts, you can take your vehicle to a licensed repair facility of your choice. You should authorize diagnosis of the problem and instruct the repair facility to obtain repair authorization before any work is done. In addition, permit an independent inspection before repairs are completed if requested. Remember to instruct the repair facility to submit the invoice/repair order (RO) exhibiting authorized repair completion to the administrator. All you need to do is pay your deductible as well as cover the charges for any non-covered components and repairs.
A: A vehicle warranty is provided by the manufacturer to protect against product defects for a specified period of time and mileage. A vehicle service contract is purchased protection against mechanical breakdown that typically extends beyond the term of the original manufacturer's warranty.
